Ranma episodes leak along with Dan Da Dan and the first Mononoke film

Written by Ross Locksley on 08 Aug 2024

Anime News Network have confirmed rumours that episodes have leaked for the new Ranma 1/2 series (all 12), along with episodes of Dan Da Dan (1-6), Re:Zero - Starting Life in Another World Season 3 (first episode),  and the entirety of the first film in the new Ghibli Mononoke project, Gekijoban Mononoke: Karakasa. The entirety of the Production I.G Terminator series have been leaked too.

The Re: Zero episode had a watermark for France's Japan Expo 2024, suggesting at least some of the episodes may have been stolen from conventions.

The episodes found their way to bittorrent sites, though in poor quality (approx 640x360) with watermarks, so they won't be finding their way to market as anything other than poor quality previews.

We'd suggest waiting for the official releases to see them as intended, but somebody needs to beef up security.
