Sega announce Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles 2 for 2025

Sega have announced that the 2025 release of Demon Slayer - Kimetsu no Yaiba - The Hinomaki Chronicles 2. The game is an arena fighter from Cyberconnect2 that builds on the 4 million selling original. 

With a story mode that picks up where the previous game left off, putting the player in control of Tanjiro Kamado as he experiences the events of the Entertainment District Arc, Swordsmith Village Arc and the Hashura Training Arc.

The versus mode allows access to over 40 playable characters, including two of the Hashira who fought against two upper rank demons of the Twelve Kizuki, Muichiro Tokito and Mitsuro Kanroji. Everyone from the original Hinokami Chronicles are present and correct, including everyone available as DLC added since launch.
