Kill la Kill and Gurren Lagann added to Netflix UK

Written by A. H. on 24 Jul 2014

We've hinted a few times recently that the anime section of Netflix UK should grow as this year progresses, and while we've seen Netflix themselves snap up offerings like Knights of Sidonia and Harlock to offer as their own exclusives, work is also afoot to broaden their catalogue of anime in other ways.

Spearheading this effort is Anime Limited, and as of today the distributor has confirmed that two of their titles are now available to be viewed via Netflix's UK service. The two titles in question are notable ones too, as both Kill la Kill and Gurren Lagann have arrived on the service for viewers to enjoy.

Kill la Kill is currently available in Japanese audio with English subtitles, while Gurren Lagann has both English and Japanese language options available alongside English subtitles.

Needless to say, you'll be able to find both series via the Netflix web site or any other medium you use to access the service.

Are you excited at the prospect of seeing more anime come to Netflix? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
