Series: Xenosaga Height: 45.00 cm (includes the related display base)
Scale: 1/4
From game series Xenosaga, KOS-MOS is a battle robot who has the appearance of an 18 year old girl. She will finish any assigned mission according to precise calculation based on logic and probability, which means she is ready to make any necessary sacrifice. However, she will protect her developer Shion Uzuki at all cost. Quite an attractive character, isn’t she?
This is a a pre-painted figure of this adorable girl... or should I say robot? Anyway, design of this Gathering kit is from Xenosaga Episode III - KOS-MOS Ver. 4, one of her strongest modes. To deliver the impression of strong fighting machine, she comes equipped with an enormous Gatling gun attached to her right arm.
Moreover, a removable eyepatch is included for an extra display mode. Apart from her hair, which is made from clear material to provide a graceful effect, her outfit also contributes: tight skirt with boots and black stockings provide a sexy, cyberpunk look to the figure… hi-tech, yet girlish. I even think that she looks like a Goddess with her overall white tone of colour.
Speaking of colours, KOS-MOS is, as all Gathering kits are, a 100% hand-painted kit. Thus the quality of paint jobs are excellent and is one of the best among most pre-painted kits found in the market. Her outfit is highly glossy, providing a nice metallic finish which really helps lend a solid feel to the figure. Take a closer look and you can even see tiny words and patterns on her armour. This level of detail is typical on Gathering kits, and they do their usual high standard of work here. KOS-MOS’ beautiful face was also perfectly presented by a clear and highly detailed paint application. That beautiful face and melancholy look in her eyes will make your heart melt!
The figure comes with a highly detailed base, which has a detailed design and perfectly complements the figure.
Last but not least, she is a 1/4 scaled kit, which means she is 45 cm in height (display base included). What a huge figure; imagine how magnificent that looks in person!
