Fans of shoujo manga will doubtless be keen to learn that Viz Media had a handful of announcements to unveil as part of their Shoujo Beat imprint at last weekend's Anime Expo in Los Angeles.
Perhaps inevitably there was plenty of Vampire Knight news to be related, starting with volume 19 of the series proper which will see its normal volume supplemented with a limited edition release in October 2014, which comes with exclusive cover art and a bundled art book. A second box set for the series, comprising volumes 11 to 19, will arrive in November.
Alongside this, the bonus manga chapter Vampire Knight: Life will be released as a digital exclusive at an unspecified date - no news on whether this material will enjoy a digital release in the UK at the time of writing.
In terms of newer announcements, the publisher has acquired The Demon Prince of Momochi House for an English release, bringing this supernatural romance story of an orphan living in a haunted house to the west. The first volume of the series is currently slated for a July 2015 release.
Also picked up by the company is Meteor Prince, the story of an unlucky girl who has a naked man fall on her from the sky before asking her to bear his child (which is a pretty specific definition of "unlucky", if you ask us). The first volume of the series will arrive in English form in January 2015.
