Written by A. H. on 08 Mar 2016

We love a good exclusive here at UK Anime, and boy is this a particularly juicy one, as we can now reveal to you the full contents of Universal Pictures' forthcoming Seraph of the End Season 1 Collector's Edition.

For starters, you can see an exploded pack shot of this Blu-ray or DVD Collector's Edition release above (and click on the image to see it in all its glory) - this edition consists of the following physical contents:

- Rigid slipcase outer package
- Two-disc digibook
- 134-page English translated landscape guide book containing character profiles, staff interviews and conceptual and background art
- 27cm x 34cm poster
- 4 x artcards, featuring Yuichiro, Guren, Mikaela and Ferid
- 4 x stat cards, playing card-sized and featuring stats on your favourite characters. Volume one includes Yuichiro, Mikaela, Shinoa Hiragi and Krul Tepes, with more to come in the Season 2 collection

We've also confirmed that the outer packaging will be free of text and BBFC logos, which will instead inhabit a J-card which wraps around the packaging as you might see on Steelbook releases.

Alongside this, we can also confirm the contents of those two Blu-ray discs themselves:

- Episodes 1-12 of Seraph of the End, featuring English and Japanese audio with English subtitles
- Seraph of the Endless bonus episodes
- Trailers
- TV spots
- Music clips

The Collector's Edition is currently slated for a 23rd May 2016 release.

We know that Universal Pictures are keen to hear people's thoughts and feedback on this release and their plans for it, so we'd similarly love to see your opinions in the comments section below!
