Unavoidable delays hit Universal Pictures releases

Unavoidable delays hit Universal Pictures releases

Written by D. R. on 07 Sep 2017

The keen followers of UK releases amongst you may have noticed that Bakuon!! Complete Series Collection and Starmyu Complete Season 1 Collection from Universal Pictures didn't appear on shelves as originally scheduled, towards the end of August.

We can now reveal that all currently announced Universal Pictures anime titles for 2017 have had to be put temporarily on hold. John Partridge, Marketing Manager at Universal Pictures, confirmed "unavoidable delays". What this means for their upcoming releases is that Beserk and Drifters will be coming in Q4 2017, while everything else is looking likely for Q4 2017 or Q1 2018.

No dates are available as yet, but we'll keep you updated as we hear more.
