Trails in the Sky First Chapter coming Autumn 2025

Trails in the Sky First Chapter coming Autumn 2025

Written by Ross Locksley on 19 Dec 2024

A pretty early announcement for a remake of Trails in the Sky, subtitled 1st Chapter, the game will be released in Autumn next year on Nintendo Switch, PS5 and PC via Steam.

Clear River Games will handle distribution in the UK, with Limited Edition Games offering more flavourful releases, with details to be determined later.

The RPG was a lot of fun on the PSP many years ago (still have my limited edition) so it'll be interesting to see how modernisation affects the mechanics and the overall experience.

About Trails in the Sky

Developed by Nihon Falcom, known for the iconic Ys and Trails series, this remake has been reimagined for modern platforms featuring brand-new English, German, and French localizations, enhanced visuals, and refined gameplay mechanics; the rich world of the Liberl Kingdom can now be experienced in full 3D by both longtime fans and newcomers alike.
