Tiger and Bunny return

Written by Ross Locksley on 16 Mar 2022

Netflix has announced a brand new series of Tiger & Bunny, streaming exclusively on the network from 8th April 2022.

The heroic duo have been absent from our screens for 11 years, so it's a testament to the popularity of the show that it's being brought back for fans to enjoy.

A full-fledged sequel to the original series, season 2 will again be animated by Studio Sunrise, and will comprise 25 episodes split across 2 seasons. April will see the first 13 of these, with the remaining 12 to be streamed at a later (unconfirmed) date.

A trailer has also been posted while we wait:

Synopsis:
Fighting for peace - and their sponsors - the odd couple of Wild Tiger and Barnaby continue to work as superheroes. But with the number of superheroes increasing around the world, how will these two veterans fare!?
