Tales of Toyotoki: Arrival of the Witch set to enchant with August 22nd release

Akysys games have announced their highly rated and Award-Nominated visual novel Tales from Toyotoki: Arrival of the Witch is set to ensnare unwary gamers with a release on Nintendo Switch and Playstation 5 on August 22nd.

Having found praise in Japan on launch, the game was nominated for the INDIE Live Expo Award for Local Cultural Representation.

Synopsis:
Hikaru finds himself out of luck and homeless on an unfamiliar island. While avoiding pit vipers and angrysenior committee members, he comes across a witch in a very similar situation. The two set out to survive,and hopefully thrive, on Toyotoki, the uncompromising island secluded from the modern world that issteeped in ancient traditions and shrouded in mystery.

Along the way, they meet a cheeky island beauty, haughty rich girl, clumsy saleswoman, and manga-loving delinquent, all of whom are locals on similar mission to discover themselves their place in world. With some hard work sprinkle magic, can unlikely group friends unravel mystery Toyotoki Island, while also finding success journey self-discovery?
