Ross founded the UK Anime Network waaay back in 1995 and works in and around the anime world in his spare time.

A sad note to end the year on, designer Sysd Mead passed away yesterday aged 86.

The first foreign designer to lend his talents to the Gundam franchise, his talents lent a distinctive style to Turn A and Turn X Gundam. Also notable for his work on genre classics Tron and Bladerunner, Syd Mead can can be credited with defining the look of the future for an entire generation.

Our condolences to his friends and family, his unique talents will be sorely missed, but his work will be admired by generations to come.
