The One Piece anime is getting a remake according to a surprise Netflix teaser that dropped earlier today. To celebrate 25 years of Oda's seminal pirate saga, Studio WIT is starting production from where it all began - the Romance Dawn arc!
With an all new animation team and produced by Studio WIT (Spy X Family, Frieren Beyond Journey's End) it looks like a new generation of fans will be introduced to the series with a modern twist on the original source material. How this will fit in with the currently airing series, now well over 1,000 episodes, has yet to be announced.
