In a further celebration of Samurai Champloo's 20th anniversary, following the release of the soundtracks to streaming platforms, a new project has been announced to bring the series to fans in a new way: Samurai Champloo Video Clash.

This new contest invites fans to create new Samurai Champloo videos by combining anime footage with designated music tracks. Two categories have been established: Shorts (to be released on Youtube Shorts) and Music Videos, to be released on Youtube. The winner of the short competition could walk away with a gift card prize of $300, while the music video category entrants will be competing for $1,000 cash prize.

Winners will be placed on the FlyingDog Youtube channel. If you're feeling creative, you can enter the competition on the official Samurai Champloo Video Clash website

As an additional treat for the 20th anniversary, the series will be made available on the FlyingDog Youtube channel for a limited time, and character designer Kazuto Nakazawa has created a new visual featuring Mugen and Jin:
