Netflix drop images and release info for Cowboy Bebop

Written by Ross Locksley on 24 Aug 2021

Netflix have dropped a release date and new images for their upcoming live-action Cowboy Bebop project courtest of their @bebopnetflix account on twitter!

The tweet reads:

Spike Spiegel: Just a humble bounty hunter. Meet Spike Spiegel (John Cho), Jet Black (Mustafa Shakir), and Faye Valentine (Daniella Pineda) in Cowboy Bebop, premiering November 19, only on Netflix.

The series will feature 10 episodes, and the photos provided certainly look to have got the aesthetics right - everything from the set of the ship to the colours and stylistic cues from the classic anime.

Original composer Yoko Kanno was recently confirmed to be on music duty and original director, Shinichirō Watanabe, was a consultant on the show.

Now we just have to wait until November 19th. See you, Space Cowboy...
