Netflix announce Spriggan Anime for 2021

Dangerous alien relics must be defended by the ARCAM Corp's Spriggan agents

Netflix have announced that Spriggan will be joining their ever-expanding line-up of original anime series. The series will be handled by David Production, (Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, Fire Force) and premiere worldwide on the streaming service.

Based on the 1989 manga of the same name, the series stars Yū Ominae, a high school student and Spriggan agent that must defend ancient alien artifacts from falling into the wrong hands. The manga was turned into a feature film in 1998, and now Netflix will bring the series to a fresh audience.

The anime will be directed by Hiroshi Kobayashi (Kill la Kill), Hiroshi Seko (Attack on Titan) will handle series composition/screenplay and Shūhei Handa will be heading up character design.
