Netflix announce Blood of Zeus anime

Blood of Zeus has been announced by Netflix as the latest in their line of "original anime" productions. Hailing from the same team behind the Castlevania series, Texas-based Powerhouse Studios, the series looks to ape the same mature themes as their previous IP.

The voice acting talent includes Jason O’Mara, Derek Phillips, Mamie Gummer, Claudia Christian, Elias Toufexias, Melina Kanakeredes, Jessica Henwick, and Chris Diamantopoulos.

Synopsis:
In a brewing war between the gods of Olympus and the titans, Heron, a commoner living on the outskirts of ancient Greece, becomes mankind's best hope of surviving an evil demon army, when he discovers the secrets of his past.
