MVM announce first quarter releases for 2025

MVM have announced their early 2025 releases on their catalogue website, MVM Films. Looks like a varied crop, with Netflix series Baki and Drifting Dragons heading for physical releases, while Demon Sword Master is a new one to us. Tenjho Tenge makes a return too so we can relive the baggy street style that made it a hit when first released.

Baki Hanma competes in an underground fighting tournament organized by Tokugawa. Masters of various fighting styles come from all over the world in order to determine who is the strongest fighter on Earth.

Based on the celebrated manga by Keisuke Itagaki created in 1991, the new anime brings the characters to life with outstanding animation.

Dragons are on the menu as the crew of the airship Quin Zaza sets out on a hunt. If they fail, empty stomachs will be the least of their worries.

Based on the manga by Taku Kuwabara created in 2016 and animated as an Original Net Animation by Polygon Pictures in 2020, the blu ray release will feature all 12 episodes of season 1.

The return of a fan favourite, Tenjho Tenge is a high school drama with a twist - all the teachers and students are martial artists and take part in an ongoing war. Featuring iconic character designs and outfits, the series gained popularity for its incredible battles, street style and buxom female lead.
