MVM Entertainment confirm Tenchi Muyo OVA Collector's Edition release

It was first announced almost a year ago during last May's MCM London Comic Con, but today distributor MVM Entertainment have reiterated their plans to release the original Tenchi Muyo OVAs on Blu-ray here in the UK.

In fact, the release will be a DVD/Blu-ray combo Collector's Edition, shipping in a rigid collector's box and containing all thirteen episodes of the original Tenchi Muyo OVAs on both formats. Plans are also afoot to include the Mihoshi Special episode on DVD as part of the release, and potentially (pending approvals from the licensor) the Tenchi Encyclopedia DVD previously released in the UK as part of a Tenchi Muyo movie box set.

The OVA collection is slated for release on Monday, 10th July, with an SRP of £49.99. You can find the title available for pre-order via the Anime On-Line store.
