Legendary Japanese game store Super Potato goes global

New ebay store brings gaming rarities to the rest of the world

Written by Ross Locksley on 23 Apr 2021

If you're a gamer and you've visited Japan, you'll no doubt have sought out the legendary stores of Super Potato! An absolute mecca of rare consoles and games, the stores are crammed with obscure delights.

In a bid to bring the collectables to a wider audience, the store has opened up an Ebay page which ships, for the first time, worldwide! This is a fantastic opportunity to pick up some gaming treasures without leaving your home.

If you want to stay up to date, there's an English-language twitter account for the store, @SuperPotatoG

Shipping isn't cheap, but these will be coming very well packed and insured from Japan, so it's pretty much par for the course.
