ARC System Works have announced a release date of July 17th for their latest anime-themed fighting game, Hunter x Hunter: NENxIMPACT .
Fans old and new of the iconic manga and anime series by Yoshihiro Togashi worldwide will finally be able to play their favourite characters, suitable for fighters of all skill levels who can now enjoy the nen-enhanced battles of HUNTERxHUNTER: NENxIMPACT!
The game will be released on physical and digital versions for PlayStation®5, Nintendo Switch™ & digital version for PC Steam.
The game features 16 characters at launch, taken from various arcs of the 2011 anime adaptation of the series, allowing players to discover their unique styles and powerful abilities.
The game’s digital pre-orders for PS5 and Steam are now open.

HUNTERxHUNTER: NENxIMPACT will come with multiple modes for all types of players to experience the game at their own pace. Here are a few examples of the modes to play:
Offline
Offline modes feature Free Battle, allowing players to battle friends and family via local couch play or against the CPU!
The Training mode allows players to practice with their characters in any situation, also coming with various settings and a “Record” function to help capture any situation!
The game also has a “Replay” section, allowing players to rewatch their favorite matches!
The Story mode gives the opportunity to relive famous scenes from HUNTERxHUNTER and play against the CPU based on set situations! Some stages also act as tutorials to help players understand how to play on top of enjoying the 2011 anime’s iconic moments!
The Single mode provides a variety of challenges, including the “Sky Arena” featuring a series of matches against the CPU to become the “Floor Master”! Each character also comes with a “Combo Trial”, which will challenge players to succeed several combos!
The Story and Single mode also serve to collect “Titles”, “Profile Icons” and Greed Island Cards - G.I. Cards - to fill your Collection and help you personalise your profile online.
Online
With a quality rollback netcode to offer a seamless experience, players can challenge each other across the world in Player Matches for casual fun!
Players can also try to become “Triple Hunter” in Ranked Matches, accumulating Rank Points and score as high as possible!
Both modes also allow players to challenge each other to gain G.I. Cards!
Pre-orders:
Players who pre-order the Deluxe Edition will earn an Early Access of 48 hours before release as well as a special colour variation for Killua (PS5) and Hisoka (PC).
Players who pre-order the Nintendo Switch version will receive a special colour for Gon, though the release for Nintendo's console will be after the other platforms.

HUNTERxHUNTER: NENxIMPACT will also feature a physical edition for PS5 and Nintendo Switch.
Pre-orders for these editions will start soon with two versions: “Standard Edition” and “Limited Edition.” More information will be provided at a later date.

Nephelpito, from the Chimera Ants arc, will come as an additional DLC Character. Players will be able to obtain Pito by either purchasing the DLC separately or by obtaining the Deluxe version of the game.
Neferpitou is also the first character of the Season Pass 1, set to be released in Winter 2025. Further news about this character and the next 3 will be revealed at a later date.
