Gundam Gquuuuuux lands on Amazon

But not necessarily in the right order...

Written by Ross Locksley on 09 Apr 2025

If you're tuning in to Gundam Gquuuuuux on Amazon Prime, you might be a little confused, especially if you were fortunate enough to see the Beginnings film in cinemas. The streaming episodes actually start with what we might call episode 2, where we meet Amate and start her adventure. However, there was a whole prologue in the cinemas (in a very different style) that explains exactly what sort of UC timeline we're in, and without that context, the show may seem a little... odd?

It's not a game changer, but it might leave newcomers scratching their heads at how the new world order is working, especially as Zeon has taken control.

Hopefully all of the mystery will be revealed as the series airs, but just be aware there's a lot of backstory you've missed if this is your first exposure to the show!
