Free online talk - The making of Godzilla Minus One with producer Yamada Kenji

Japan House have announced a free online lunchtime talk - yes free! - on Wednesday 27th November with Yamada Kenji discussing his role as Producer on Godzilla Minus One.

Booking is essential and questions can be submitted in advance though seem now to be closed. All details available on Japan House's website here.

Later in the day in Japan House London they also have a showing of Godzilla Minus One.

Join film producer Yamada Kenji for a lunchtime talk as he discusses the making of Oscar-winning Godzilla Minus One, ahead of a screening at Japan House London later that day.

Yamada shares insight into how the iconic monster was brought to life behind the scenes, how he recreated post-war Tokyo and his involvement in the Academy Awards campaign. He will also discuss his role in other films and series including the critically acclaimed MONSTER and The Makanai: Cooking for the Maiko House for Netflix, both directed by Koreeda Hirokazu.
