Eureka to release Golgo 13

Written by Richard Durrance on 27 Apr 2023

Eureka is adding not only to its recent Japanese film releases but giving us another Ken Takakura & Junya Sato collaboration, after the release of The Bullet Train just this week, with Goglo 13 on 17th July.

Here's what Eureka have to say about it:

The first film adaptation of the long-running manga series by Takao Saito, director Junya Sato cast Ken Takakura (who was the original inspiration for the character) as the mysterious and stoic killer-for-hire who always completes his assignment (usually with his signature scoped M16 rifle).

Almost impossible to see outside of Japan for many years, Eureka Classics is proud to present Golgo 13 in its UK debut on home video in a definitive Blu-ray edition.

As always, ordering direct from Eureka is often your best bet for price and usually a nice and early delivery.

About Richard Durrance

Long-time anime dilettante and general lover of cinema. Obsessive re-watcher of 'stuff'. Has issues with dubs. Will go off on tangents about other things that no one else cares about but is sadly passionate about. (Also, parentheses come as standard.) Looks curiously like Jo Shishido, hamster cheeks and all.
