The latest entry to the Digimon Story franchise was announced today by Bandai Namco, complete with a trailer. It looks as stylish and glorious as we've come to expect from Digimon, so we'll keep an eye out for the game's release on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC later this year.

From the Press Release:

In Digimon Story Time Stranger, players will be able to explore the bond between Digimon and humans in an epic story that spans through time across the human and Digital World unveiling the mystery behind the world’s collapse.

Along with its RPG and monster-taming elements where players will be able to tame, recruit and train their Digimon, Digimon Story Time Stranger offers dynamic turn-based combat, including an incredible variety of Digimon. This, combined with deep customisation and evolution options, provides limitless ways to approach battles revealing the strength of the bonds between the players and their Digimon to unleash their full potential.
