Detective Conan lands on Crunchyroll

Crunchyroll has announced today that the first 42 episodes of long-running anime Detective Conan are now streaming from the service. Serialised in Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday since 1994, the series is written and illustrated by Gosho Aoyama. The manga has sold over 230 million volumes worldwide, an anime series was first aired in 1996.

The son of a world-famous mystery writer, Shinichi Kudo, has achieved his own notoriety by assisting the local police as a student detective. He has always been able to solve the most difficult of criminal cases using his wits and power of reason.

The series follows student detective Shinichi Kudo, the son of a famous mystery writer, on his adventures assisting local police to solve mysteries and criminal cases.

In the U.S., “Detective Conan” is best known as “Case Closed.”
