Crunchyroll to distribute anime as Youtube Primetime Channel by end of 2024

Written by Ross Locksley on 29 Oct 2024

Crunchyroll have announced that they intend to share some of their most popular series on Youtube via their official channel before the end of the year. Titles to be shared include  Dragon Ball Daima, One Piece, BLUE LOCK, Re:Zero, and Shangri-La Frontier Season 2. In total, over 40 titles are planned for launch.

The titles will be available in the UK, US, Germany, France and Australia, accessible via subscription to Primetime Channels, a service that allows you to subscribe to premium content via Youtube, allowing you to manage your subscriptions in one place.

This move follows Crunchyroll's inclusion as a channel on Prime Video, Amazon Freevee, LG and Roku as well as a dedicated app on Hisense Smart TVs.
