Crunchyroll streams Case Closed to the UK

Written by A. H. on 22 Dec 2015

Back at Hyper Japan in July, we had an opportunity to sit down with Detective Conan (aka Case Closed) producer Michihiko Suwa, and during our chat one pivotal aspect of the conversation turned to the inability for UK viewers to actually watch this long-running and popular series. Together with industry expert Tetsuya Watanabe, quite some time was spent opining on how the series might reach our shores and the reasons as to why it was yet to do so.

We're not going to pretend that our discussion on the subject was related, but nonetheless a few months later we've been greeted with some pleasantly surprising news, with streaming service Crunchyroll expanding their streaming regions for Case Closed to encompass the UK and Ireland.

Thus, you can now watch the latest episodes of the series on the service over at this Crunchyroll page or via its related device apps - unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately given the number of episodes) you can't go back to the very start of the show, but you can currently find episodes 754 to 803 on the service, with new episodes arriving every Saturday at 8PM UK time.
