Crunchyroll showcase epic Trigun Stargaze trailer

Vash returns for the final battle

Vash the Stampede makes his return in January 2026 with what looks to be the final battle - retelling and expanding on the story told by the original anime. As well as the familiar villains from the Gung Ho Guns, it appears that Earth is on the way too, marking a departure from what we've seen before. 

The animation on the prequel, Trigun Stampede, was generally a solid update from the 90's series, though Vash's makeover has drawn some criticism as it looks arguably less iconic without the spiked hair.

Regardless, the new series will land in 3 months and the trailer certainly goes very hard - judge for yourself below.
