It's time for another batch of Crunchyroll simulcast announcements for the winter 2016 season, and yesterday brought us news of three series of shorts that are coming to the service over the next few months. Here's whats arriving and when:
Yamishibai : Japanese Ghost Stories 3 - This series of Japanese ghost stories gets a third run of episodes to kick off the New Year, delivering more fascinating and horrific stories based on classic ghost stories from its homeland.
The series starts on Sunday, January 10th, with episodes airing each week at 8:35PM UK time from this Crunchyroll page.
Tabi Machi Late Show - Comix Wave Films is producing four episodes with the theme of “goodbyes and journeys,” entitled “Recipe,” “Transistor Smartphone,” “Summer Festival,” and “Clover”, as part of the Ultra Super Anime Time programming block broadcast in Japan.
The series begins on Friday, January 8th, and episodes arrive each week at 4:50PM UK time to this Crunchyroll page.
Ojisan and Marshmallow - This short series adapted from a manga of the same name for the winter offers something different from your average romantic comedy anime - never mind school students, this is the story of an older man who adores marshmallows, and the office lady that adores him.
The show begins today, Thursday 7th January, with episodes turning up at 7:30PM UK time each week at this Crunchyroll page.
