Crunchyroll Australian Bushfire Awareness GoFundMe

Written by Ross Locksley on 10 Feb 2020

Crunchyroll are calling on the anime community to come together and help our friends in Australia tackle the bushfire crisis engulfing the nation.

Crunchyroll is calling on the global anime community to raise awareness and donate to the wildlife affected by the Australian bushfires.

From the Press Release:

Crunchyroll is excited to be joining forces with AnimeLab and will match donations up to $50,000 USD ($75,000 AUS) for Wildlife Victoria as we aim to make the biggest impact possible.

The GoFundMe campaign has already raised over $90,000 USD towards the overarching goal of $150,000 USD.

The donations will go directly to Wildlife Victoria - a not-for-profit organisation, offering an emergency response service to the community to help with sick, injured, or orphaned wildlife.

This is a great campaign and UKA will be making a donation on behalf of the UKA writers.
