Clip Studio paint sponsors World Manga Senbatsu

Ross founded the UK Anime Network waaay back in 1995 and works in and around the anime world in his spare time.

Celysys, developers of the highly regarded Clip Studio, are providing a 3 month Studio Paint EX license to applicants of the World Manga Senbatsu competition, held yearly and managed by NicoNico Manga, Comicwalker and Kochi prefecture's "Manga Kingdom Tosa Promotion Council".

The contest is open worldwide, with the brief to create a 1 page manga to fit a selected theme. There's a prize for High-Schoolers, and 2 open categories that anyone can enter.

The themes this year are:

  • High School Category (1 page manga): Fantastic!/Cool!
  • Open Category (1 page manga): Making a comeback
  • Open Category (Story manga): No theme
