Seven Seas license Kase-san and Secret of the Princess yuri manga

It's looking set to be a busy week for Seven Seas Entertainment, as they promise to barrage us with new manga license acquisitions. Yesterday brought our first batch of announcements, bringing us two new yuri manga series that will be arriving in English.

Here's what they had to show off:

Secret of the Princess is a one-shot yuri manga where a simple secret leads to an unexpected relationship. Written and drawn by Milk Morinaga, the most beloved creator in the yuri genre and creator of the yuri series Girl Friends, Secret of the Princess is an unforgettable and bittersweet tale of high school romance.

Fujiwara is the school’s most admired student and captain of the volleyball team, but her reputation is at risk when she accidentally breaks the principal’s most prized possession, a priceless vase. Fellow student Miu witnesses the accident, and Fujiwara begs her not to tell. In exchange, she’ll do whatever Miu wants. It turns out that what Miu wants is to date Fujimaru! Although this wasn’t an arrangement that either girl expected, the two soon discover that breaking the vase may have been destiny’s way of bringing them together.

This single volume standalone manga will (aptly) be released on 14th February 2017.

Beginning with Kase-san and Morning Glories, the Kase-san yuri series is an on-going manga where individual volumes can be read in order of publication or as charming standalone volumes. Each follows the budding romance between the clumsy, flower-adoring Yamada and the exuberant Kase-san, their school’s track and field star.

Yamada may be shy and rather clumsy, but the flower gardens at her school have always brought her happiness. Suddenly, a different sort of beauty catches her eye—the vivacious track star, Kase-san. Although the two girls don’t seem to have much in common, they soon start a romance where each must learn an important lesson in tending their budding relationship. Can the two girls, so different from each other, learn how to make their first love blossom?

This first volume of the Kase-san and... series is currently set for release on February 28th 2017.
