New Releases - 24th April 2017

There's often a rather marked schism in the subject matter of new releases in any given week, but this week's releases are a particularly clear occurence of that.

On the one hand we have Anime Limited, and their new Collector's Edition release of Evangelion 1.11: You Are (Not) Alone as a DVD/Blu-ray combo pack. We've just taken a look at this title in video form, and you can find our coverage over here.

On the other, we have Shimoneta: A Boring World Where the Concept of Dirty Jokes Doesn’t Exist from Funimation Entertainment, which lands today on both DVD and Blu-ray. We'll have a review of this title for you very soon.

There's also a smattering of new manga releases this week, including new instalments of Monster Musume and more besides - check out the full list below.

Next week brings us a quiet start to the month of May, with only Escaflowne's DVD release scheduled to land - don't get used to it however, as it's going to be a busy month!
