Andy has been writing for UK Anime since 2006, and was the site's editor-in-chief until August 2017.  Contrary to popular belief, Andy is not actually a robot.

One might say it's too hot to write about anime today, yet here we are with another week's worth of new releases. It's a busy week too, so grab yourself a cold drink (non-alcoholic, it's too early for a beer) and let's see what we've got.

Our starter for this week is Manga Entertainment, as Amagi Brilliant Park comes to the UK at long last as a DVD/Blu-ray Limited Edition combo pack. We've reviewed the series right here on the site, so you can see whether it lives up to its name on this page.

Elsewhere, we have a couple of new releases from Anime Limited. Firstly, and just in time for the pending theatrical release of his latest film, Sunao Katabuchi's Mai Mai Miracle gets a full retail DVD/Blu-ray Standard Edition treatment. We haven't reviewed this retail edition of the film, but you can read our thoughts on the movie itself via this theatrical review.

Also arriving from Anime Limited today is Assassination Classroom - Season 2 Part 1 as a Blu-ray Collector's Edition and DVD Standard Edition. Our review of Koro-sensei's continuing mischief has just gone live on the site, so why not read it here?

Anime Limited also have a hand in distributing another Funimation title this week, as the Noragami Aragoto Complete Series Collection arrives on our shores in Blu-ray Collector's Edition and DVD Standard Edition forms. We'll have a review soon, so keep on checking back for that.

Last but not least, MVM Entertainment return to the world of Little Busters for a final time with the Little Busters! EX Complete OVA Collection on DVD and Blu-ray. Our review of this collection is available for your perusal on this page.

It's also a massive week for new manga and light novels this week, as the first Sound! Euphonium novel comes our way, as does further instalments of the likes of BLAME!School-Live! and plenty of series that don't have exclamation marks in them. Check out the full list below.

Things don't get any quieter next week either, with anime releases comprising Amagami SS Plus+Anthem of the HeartAttack on Titan - Junior HighBelladonna of Sadness and the first half of Charlotte. We'll see you then!
