While our thoughts are currently turning to Scotland Loves Anime over the next couple of weekends, November brings with it the prospect of the Leeds International Film Festival, which once again has a Fanomenon Anime Day of its very own with a fistful of big-name films to offer up.
This anime day takes place on Sunday, November 17th, and here's the line-up:
11AM - The Garden of Words + HAL
1PM - Patema Inverted
3PM - Steins;Gate the Movie: Loading Area of Déjà vu
5PM - Evangelion 3.0: You Can (Not) Redo
7:30PM - Akira
All of these screenings take place at Leeds Town Hall - tickets are available from the Leeds International Film Festival web site, where passes to see all of the films within the Fanomenon Anime Day are available for £25 each, £20 for concessions.
Outside of the official anime day, the festival is also boasting two screenings of After School Midnighters - one on Saturday November 9th at 12PM in the Hyde Park Picturehouse, and another on Monday November 18th at 4PM from the Everyman cinema.
You can also find the full 2013 show guide on the official web site.
Will you be checking out any of these films? Let us know in the comments!
