Written by D. R. on 01 Feb 2018

As Netflix have a tendency to do they've slipped another of last season's anime series onto their service, this time it is studio MAPPA's Kakegurui (or Kakegurui – Compulsive Gambler to give its full title) which has arrived on the streaming giant. Kakegurui's availability was announced on the day of it's launch (1st Feb 2018) via an email sent to subscribers. The series covers the events at the exclusive Hyakkaou Private Academy after the arrival of disruptive pupil, and compulsive gambler, Yumeko Jabami.

Synopsis: High roller Yumeko Jabami plans to clean house at Hyakkaou Private Academy, a school where students are evaluated solely on their gambling skills.

Kakegurui is available in streaming form to paid subscribers on Netflix.
