Crunchyroll adds more spring 2017 simulcasts

We're a bit behind on our spring simulcast news (office illness will do that to you, as it turns out), so let's get back on track and check in on what currently comprises Crunchyroll's spring 2017 simulcast line-up for the UK. Here are the recent additions to that line-up:

Tsukigakirei - It’s the third year of middle school. Kotaro, a bookish boy aspiring to become a novelist, and Akane, a track girl who loves to run, meet in the same class together for the first time. They’re put in charge of the equipment for the sports festival, and slowly grow closer via LINE. How does Kotaro deal with his growing feelings for her?

Meanwhile, Takumi has been in love with Akane since first year, and Akane’s friend, Chinatsu, becomes interested in Kotaro. A refreshing story of young love set in Kawagoe.

Clockwork Planet - This news may seem sudden... but this world died long ago. Earth died a thousand years ago, and a legendary clockmaker known only as "Y" rebuilt it using clockwork. Naoto Miura, a failing high school student, encounters RyuZU, an automaton that "Y" left behind, and the genius clockmaker Marie. When the abilities of these three come together, the gears of fate begin to turn. The cycle of failure and success repeats endlessly as the three of them work to repair the endangered "Clockwork Planet" in this clockpunk fantasy!

The Eccentric Family 2 - Shimogamo Yasaburo has the blood of a mystical racoon-like creature - a tanuki - but has the ability to transform into a human. Berserk Season 2 - Strike with your iron. "That night" comes once again... Hinako Note - Sakuragi Hinako has a hard time talking with others. In order to get over her paralyzing shyness, Hinako leaves her home in the country because she ends up starting school at the high school that has the drama club that she admires and ends up staying at Hitotose-sou. There, she meets Kuina, who loves books and to eat, Mayuki, who’s a bit older but smaller who’s good at cooking, and the quiet landlady with the hot body, Chiaki-san. A cute and fun drama comedy about the former girl who was paralyzed from shyness.

Ninja Girl & Samurai Master 2nd - The year is 1555, the middle of the Warring States period, and one young man holds on to a very big dream. That young man, known as an empty-headed fool, is none other than Oda Nobunaga. Enchanted by his dream, a certain young girl who admires Nobunaga swears that she will become his ninja one day. Nobunaga has one goal: to unify Japan by military might! Decorated by a colorful cast of characters, including the airheaded Kichou, the errand boy Hideyoshi, the tsundere Nene, the straight man Mitsuhide, and the half-dead Hanbei, this heavy-hitting wartime gag anime is about to begin!!

But five new rice students have enrolled at Kokuritsu Inaho Academy, a school on the verge of shutting down, and they form a new group called "Love Rice" that's practicing to beat Yeast King at the Harvest Show and win back the popularity rice once had...

This heartfelt "kome"-dy featuring anthropomorphized grains is full of laughter and passion! Two grains aren't needed at the dinner table... so which will become the true HarveStar?
