Stop us if you've heard this one before - what if someone made a live-action version of anime classic Cowboy Bebop?
If you thought such an event may never happen, then... well, you might still be right actually given how many similar projects fall by the wayside, but as of yesterday it's been confirmed that just such an occurrence is at least in the works.
More speficially, we now have news of plans afoot to create a live-action Cowboy Bebop TV series, to be adapted by a partnership between ITV Studios and producer Marty Adelstein. The series will see production studio for the original anime Sunrise serving as executive producer, with screenwriter for the Marvel Thor films Chris Yost charged with writing the adaptation.
You can find more details on this hot news as it broke on the Variety web site.
