A long time ago in a venue far far away Amecon was born. With the death of Ayacon, and others, Amecon is one of the few surviving 'old guard' anime conventions here in the UK. Some had even predicted the fatal decline of the UK con scene. However, according to a recent announcement Amecon is coming back in 2018.
