Hardware manufacturer G'aime has brought the classic Namco shooter into the home

For the longest time I was a light gun game fanatic, but the genre died on home consoles after the Wii ended its run (I was a demon on Link's Crossbow Challenge!). King of the Arcade shooters will always be Time Crisis, so fans of the series can thank Tassei Denki for for creating the technology that allows the classic point-and-shoot classic to work on modern tellies - the G'aime Gun Controller Set:

The project has been launched on Kickstarter and backers already number over 8,500 - just goes to show that if you give people what they want, they'll back it! While the guns come in black and blue, only the latter will be available to the UK due to our very strict gun laws.
Other games are also available - Steel Gunner 1&2 are accompanied by Point Blank, a fun take on shooting that doesn't take itself too seriously.
From the Press Release:
CRT TVs disappearing from the modern cultural gaze was a blessing for anyone who ever had to cart one of those heavy nightmares up a flight of stairs, but for the cool kids who had invested their time in Lightgun gaming, it was a real stab to the heart. G‘AIM’E is turning those frowns upside down with a new breed of hardware, designed to finally bring the classic fun and accuracy of arcade Lightgun games back to the home. Did we also mention that it's been designed under license and supervision of Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. for the 30th Anniversary of TIME CRISIS, which will available when purchasing the Lightguns? No? Well, we're mentioning it now.
