First time in a long time I have had a bit of time!

So, what are we all doing now we are on enforced lockdown?

I am camped in the kitchen, multi-monitoring it while Becky takes my office. She has the joy of being surrounded by anime titties and paraphernalia :D

Working from home, with a remote desktop. There is little to do though, so I've actually been doing more exercise! Got lots of shows to watch and games to play, but I've been trying to leave those to the evening as a little treat to myself! It's going to be a long three weeks...

Working from home, remote desktop. Part of the team frantically rescheduling the Tube's timetables and staff schedules to cope with the drop in traffic and reduced staff.

I'm considered a "key worker" so nothing much has changed for me, apart from how much quieter it is.

Had to self isolate from Monday. At least it gave me time to get 2 video game reviews done.
My work just dropped off my computer from there so I can work from home now.
Just waiting on them to get the vpn set up so we can login remotely to our network.

I'm in a position where I can work from home if need be or if I want within reason, though since my back operation last year it has been 2-3 times per week so as not to push things. Summining up how bad the organisation is at the place I work (where we're on on premise out sourced team) I was working from home when the few remaining client staff were told to do so, to come in on the Wednesday (18th) to find an empty place and that our bosses had just gone round the desks to let people know. So been full time working from home since. Only problem is my coffee consumption has risen (not necessarily caffeine as I drink black teas at work).

I've been Furloughed since Monday, which is interesting. Difficult to maintain a routine, but lots more time to exercise! I'm trying to do work tutorials, but not finding the motivation for it.

Still at work like normal (although the guidelines by the company have made it more work for less customers)

Would like to be furlonged but health wise being at works better...kinda

Have had my WFM stuff set up for the last 2-3 weeks or so.
Theres a small joy in rolling out of your bed half an hour before your shift starts, making breakfast and a cup of coffee and then getting to work still in your pyjamas.
I tend to skip my first break and combine it together with my lunch break, so I can walk my dog at noon, then eat lunch.
Then I walk my dog again just after I finish work.
I've saved so much time not needing to commute. Get an extra hour sleep and don't waste 2-3 hours of my day on travel.

I do miss the office environment though and being right in the heart of my city. Where I can go out to the shops. Buy a nice lunch or coffee if I get bored. But when I get stressed at work I just go pet my dog to calm down. Make fresh coffee etc. Been listening to a few podcast and rewatching dubbed anime on my phone when working. Along with having a spotify playlist. Just miss office banter is all.
But hey. Its not too bad working from home. Keep everything in my spare bedroom so can easily isolate work/home life away from one another.

How is everyone else getting on?

I suppose little has changed for me, still in the garden working away. I am having to watch friends I've worked with for over 20 years watch their businesses go under so it's pretty heart-rending for that. I'm spending as much of my time on the phone helping people reorganise or try to survive as I am actually working, so to relax I'm switching my brain off on an evening and uploading images to fix the broken links on UKA.

268 fixed images, and I'm only up to E...><

Hope everyone on here is managing okay, sounds like it's affecting everyone differently.

Our future everybody. Get used to never being able to hug/kiss/hold hands. No more social/physical interaction again........all thanks to a virus 99.9% of us can recover from

Life has been hell... Total hell over the last 8 weeks.
