This could be the start of a good thing in terms of releasing same sets across different countries. Effectively reducing importation and at the same time supporting your local distributors.

Hope to see more of this for the premium releases.

Well I guess now's the right time give this series a sampling?! :)

Anyway, kudos to MVM, Siren & NIS America for collaborating together and making an otherwise impossible prospect individually a reality, hope it's a worthwhile venture for all parties and bodes well for the future!

I want this but it's going to be expensive isn't it? I'll have to see when the preorder goes live.

Looks like i will be picking up MVM's release then. I was set on picking up NISA's but knowing that the releases will be the same, I'l happily wait an extra month or so. plus there's a chance it'l be cheaper.

It's not something that interests me but I hope people buy the MVM set and don't import. There doesn't seem to be any reason to, so be interesting to see how it sells for them

What is NISA selling it for? $144? That's 96. So 3.70 an episode, discounting all the extras you're getting with the set. That's value.

Meanwhile, Kill La Kill's rather less impressive BD offering is sitting firmly 130ish for all three sets required. Are you paying attention, Anime Limited?!?

    No DVD option :(

... so no 'wait a year or two and getting for a tenner' option :p

I hope we get non intrusive BBFC logo's, having 12+ slapped all over the nice artwork would be a shame
Hope they can just place a single BBFC logo for the base for the artbox

yeah, i was think the same thing Chaotico. Or maybe have the BBFC as a sticker on the shrink wrap and only on the actual DVD case and not the Box itself.

The smartest move, if possible, would be to copy Anime Limited's strategy of having a small card wraparound with the BBFC logo on it - it has to be visiable on the actual product, so on the shrink-wrap is a no-go.

Beez used to put peel-off-able stickers on their LEs such as the Patlabor movies. That's one idea.

Or that. I'l even take a easily removable sticker over a printed BBFC logo * looks at AUS boxset on shelf and shudders*
