Tsuritama - Eps. 1-4
Its colourful presentation and some well-written characters show plenty of potential, but conversely its flaws and inability to really grab the viewer work significantly against it at this point.
Kids on the Slope - Eps. 1-4
Visually sumptuous, intelligent and beautifully delivered, Kids on the Slope looks set to raise the bar for anime of its ilk.
Bleach: Series 8 Part 2
An improvement over the first half of the series which ups the pace and provides some important plot progression, despite incessantly falling into certain bad habits.

Highschool of the Dead Vol. 6
A good volume of the series, made all the more valuable by some great additional content.
Toradora! Vol. 4
Another great instalment of comedy and smatterings of romantic drama that is paced and illustrated almost to perfection.
PoyoPoyo's Observation Diary Vol. 1
A nice accompaniment to the currently streaming TV series, and a definite source of mirth for cat owners.
Durarara!! Vol. 2
Another well-presented slice of Ikebukuro life, carried largely by its fantastically colourful roster of characters.
