This year Anime Limited have been extreamly busy, bringing many new Anime films to the big screen. Their next theatrical outing is Masaaki Yuasa's Night is Short, Walk on Girl, which will continue that trend in cinemas on 4th October. However, they've lined up something a bit special before then: They have announced a couple of special opportunities to see the film ahead of it's arrival in cinemas on 4th October.

Firstly the UK Premiere of Night is Short, Walk On Girl will be taking place on Saturday 9th September at the Glasgow Film Theatre and will feature a Q&A with the director of the film, Masaaki Yuasa! It’s a rare opportunity to hear from the man himself about this film and other works such as The Tatami Galaxy. This event is being presented by Scotland Loves Anime and the Glasgow Youth Film Festival and begins at 5:30pm – the Q&A session will follow immediately after. Tickets are on sale right now.

Just a few days after the UK Premiere in Glasgow, there will be another special event on the evening of Monday 11th September 2017 at Picturehouse Central in Piccadilly, London where the film will be screened and director Masaaki Yuasa will also be attending to take part in a Q&A session as well: Tickets to the London event are available to book now.

ABOUT ‘NIGHT IS SHORT, WALK ON GIRL’

Blowing through pub crawls, festivals and book fairs, her youthful glee infects parties of increasingly eccentric characters, but amongst the debtors, existentialists and the God of the Old Book Market, can she be convinced “coincidental” encounters are fate and will she notice the Senpai (Gen Hoshino) in pursuit of her love?

Whether the hands on your clock move fast or slow, Night is Short, Walk On Girl.
