New Releases - 20th February 2017

Yes, that's right, it's Monday again - where do the other six days of the week keep disappearing to? Anyhow, there's plenty to be getting our teeth into anime-wise this week so let's get down to it.

It's Anime Limited who are keeping us particularly busy today. First up is the long-delayed Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam Part 1, which finally makes an appearance on Blu-ray in the UK - sadly we understand that there are no review discs available for this one, so we'll have to leave you guessing as to whether it was worth the wait.

Another new addition this week is the Eden of the East Collector's Edition, bringing together the TV series and movies into a single swish instalment. We haven't taken a look at this Collector's Edition specifically, but we have previously reviewed the TV series and films one and two from their previous Manga Entertainment releases.

Also arriving today is the Escaflowne Complete TV Series Collection as a Standard Edition Blu-ray, while the Gurren Lagann Movie Collection also arrives on Standard Edition Blu-ray, both of which offer up aspects of previously releases without all the trimmings.

Beyond all of this, we have a couple of Funimation Entertainment releases for you today, as Yona of the Dawn - Part 2 and the Show By Rock!! Season 1 Complete Collection both arrive as DVD/Blu-ray combo packs. We'll be taking a look at both of these titles in due course.
