We're now just scant days away from the start of this May's MCM London Comic Con, which runs from Friday May 26th until Sunday May 28th, and that means that the event's show guide and full schedule have now been published, allowing us to dig a little deeper into what we can expect over the weekend.
Before we get into that however, after the tragic and abhorrent events in Manchester earlier in the week, it's understandable that we can expect an escalated security presence during London Comic Con - the MCM Expo Group has posted a statement that all visitors to the event should read to that effect. In short though - be patient, be vigilant, and give extra thought to any cosplay you'll be travelling to and from the event in.
With that sobering message out of the way, we've compiled our own schedule of must-visit panels and events for anime fans over the course of the weekend to help plan your time - here's our list of recommendations:
Friday, May 26th 2017
11:00-12:00 - PopAsia - Amagami SS episodes 1 and 2 screening
12:00-13:00 - Silver Theatre - All The Anime panel

You can find the full London Comic Con show guide for May 2017 on the official web site, along with the show's official stage and signing schedule.
While Anime Limited are the only distributor with any panels, you can expect some hot new license announcements from MVM Entertainment to arrive via social media over the course of the weekend, while we're hoping to glean some news from Universal Pictures regarding their current plans over the course of the event. Manga Animatsu have already announced that they'll have a reduced presence at this event, so we're unsure of their exact plans at this time.
Needless to say, all of the major UK anime distrubutors will have booths on the show floor, while Crunchyroll are once again piggy-backing off of Anime Limited's stand to offer up some goodies of their own.
If you can't make it to London Comic Con, fear not - we'll be bringing you live coverage of Anime Limited's panels on Twitter, and of course we'll also be reporting on all of the major news from the weekend right here on the site as we get it.
