Three new Winter 2018 simulcasts have landed on Amazon Video, not that you'd know unless you went looking for them. There is no fanfare accompanying these releases, as you get with the likes of Crunchyroll. Thankfully we're here to keep you informed, the three new series sneaking onto the service are:
Synopsis: Akira Tachibana(17) used to be the ace of a track club, but gave up running due to her injury. Masami Kondo(45) is a manager at a family restaurant called Garden, where Akira works. This story is set in a seaside town, and depicts a girl who stopped at a cross-point in her youth, and a man who reached a turning point of life. Everybody wants that moment where they get fraught with great emotions.
Synopsis: Most of the world's needs are fulfilled by humanoid robots called hIE's. One day, 17-year-old Arato Endo meets the android Lacia and becomes her owner. She is one of five androids with advanced AI. Each of the five units have their own motivations, and fight to gain each other's abilities. What will the relationship between man and machine be moving forward? That is something Arato must find.
Synopsis: This is a story about girls (called "Maedchen") who are selected by “Origin”. They attend school of witchcraft located all over the world to wield their magic and become first-rate “Origin Masters”. Their goal is to win at the annual Hexennacht competition, where representatives of each school compete in their abilities to wield their magic. The winner gets to have one wish magically granted. Due to lack of members, Japan might not be able to attend the annual competition this year. but things start to change when one day Shizuka Tsuchimikado, the leader of Japan meets Hazuki Kagimura.
