All Japanese nominations at Eisner Awards 2018

Excellent news for Japan and fans of Japanese media. This year's Eisner Award for Best US Edition of International Material - Asia is an all Japanese line-up.

Nominees are:

  • Furari Jiro by Taniguchi (Fanfare / Ponent Mon)
  • Golden Kamuy by Satoru Noda (Viz Media)
  • My Brother’s Husband volume 1 by Gengoroh Tagame (Pantheon)
  • Otherworld Barbara volume 2 by Moto Hagio (Fantagraphics)
  • Shiver: Junji Ito Selected Stories by Junji Ito (Viz Media)

The Eisner Awards have run since 1988 and are named in honour of artist/writer Will Eisner who sadly passed in 2005.
