I went on to read the Sequel to 'The Forever War' called Forever Free and another book by the same author 'Forever Peace'

Forever Free - A good read, it continues approximately 20 years after the original book, with the same characters + their children. It is a good read although doesn't hold the same excitement or depth of The Forever War, the ending is a bit WTF also... and not in a good way.

Forever Peace - Totally different story to the above, great read about a war fought between a technologically advanced alliance of countries using remote controlled fighting machines against a 3rd world alliance... The interesting twist is that the Soldiers are linked together such that while they fight they fight as one consciousness. A very interesting read.

I bought a big 3 in 1 book -> War and Peace containing all 3 books, highly recommended if anyone reads sci-fi

I actually finished reading a book... OMG, first one in about 10yrs. Anyway I read Odd Thomas by Dean Koontz, I've ordered the 3 other books as well.

I'm currently reading Empress by Karen Miller, it's pro but it is rather filthy at times!

I adore The Time Traveller's Wife. Love.

I'm reading Larklight by Phillip Reeve, wonderful high space adventure with pirates and evil space spiders. Excellent stuff.

Just finished Audition. Crazy stuff - almost like contemporary Hitchcock actually.

I feel ready to watch the film adaptation now (and feel ashamed that I've not watched it already).

I'm so obsessed with exams right now the only books I'm reading are to do with my course.

The Voices of Morebath by Eamon Duffy

Vietnam by Stanley Karnow

Tudor England by john Guy

and The Temple of the Golden Pavilion by Yukio Mishima

As much as I love them, I can't wait to just sit down with a good fantasy novel!

I am currently reading the novel "Child 44". I think that it has been amazing thus far as well as very interesting and accurate regarding the time which it is set in.

I finished "Alice in Wonderland" and "Through the Looking Glass and What Alice Found There". They were also masterpieces.

Started reading a lot of Scifi again, just finished...

Singularity Sky - Charles Stross
Perdido Street Station - China Miéville

Feel bad for not knowing who these authors were at Scifi conventions.

I just brought The Lord of the Sands of Time by Issui Ogawa, which im getting through quite quickly but I really like the concepts it brings up.

I would also recommend The Farseer Trilogy by Robin Hobb And The Three Worlds Cycle Series by Ian Irvine.
