Went to the London Writing Equipment Show (pen show) today. Do not ask how much I spent. One of those pens cost almost as must as the rest together

I'm going to guess it's the fancy looking one in the wooden box?

Nope - that cost me just £150 - guy had used it once and had paid $350, which is what I thought the correct price new would have been (until I looked about half an hours a go - a reputable US store is selling it for $600!!) It's the light coloured pen in the lower right - a Scribo.

    Very nice indeed!

Somewhat less impressively I picked this gal up - I'm a fan of the game design but rarely play Overwatch. Something I'd like to change, especially as I've got more time at home with the Mac Pro lately.

I got another controller for PC gaming, but this time it's a xbone wired variant that lights up like a Christmas tree.

£30 second hand. Box is a bit bashed but the figure has never left it.

Another addition to my PC games collection, but in physical form since it only cost £8.99 where the digital version would have been around twice as much.

This is why digital only as an idea will never catch on, 9 times out of 10 it's cheaper to get it on disc/cart/USB stick than to be on Steam or Origin or wherever.

Of course with PC games you usually end up having to register with one of said online stores and download the majority of it anyway, but still.

Inquisition is pretty fun, I've sunk about 120+ hours into it so far.

I've got it (Xbox 360, lol) but haven't touched it yet. All I know is I really like the lesbian elf, she sounds fun.

I actually never realised she was. I tend to use Varric more, so I've never really bothered with her side quests.

Mindgame came in the post today, directly from Sonys authoring center in Enfield (which isn't far from where I live)

Two USB hubs that I'm most likely to need after I move along with a 92mm fan to make the heat extraction on the zoostorm a little less passive.

It's -me, Mario! So far? Game of the freakin' year. And it has been a very good year for games (unlike in the real world)

And because it needs to be played on TV (not that you can't play in handheld, just that I need to see it in all its glory) I finally got a Switch Pro Controller with my birthday money. Real nice controller, only real note is the rumble is a bit softer than the Joy-cons. (and Odyssey even has a setting to make the rumble stronger)

Also Nights of Azure 2 limited edition, also on the Switch. Never played the first, but a yuri action rpg? Okay I'm interested. When I'm bored of Mario. Which won't be for a while…

Oh and speaking of yuri I downloaded Blackberry Honey from Steam. Victorian Lesbian maids? Okay colour me interested. (there's an 18+ version too, as well as a patch for the Steam version in case anyone's wondering)
